5PM NYC is an independent happy hour guide covering all five boroughs and over 2,500 bars.
We index bars across NYC, pulling happy hour times, deals, and vibe info from bar websites and local knowledge. Data is refreshed every few weeks.
Listings marked VERIFIED HH have happy hour details confirmed directly from the bar's website or another reliable source. We also include bars without confirmed happy hours to give you more options. These are clearly marked so you always know what's verified and what's not.
Happy hours change constantly: new deals, new hours, new bars opening and closing. If you spot something that's off, we want to know. Hit "Report Incorrect Info" below and we'll fix it.

Information We Collect
The types of information we collect depend on how you interact with the Site:
Information you submit directly: When you use our feedback, report, or suggestion forms (powered by Formspree), we collect the information you choose to include, such as your message content. We do not require or collect names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers through these forms unless you voluntarily provide them.
Geolocation: When you use the "Near Me" feature, we request access to your device's location through your browser. Your browser will ask for your permission before sharing this data. Location data is used entirely on your device (client-side) to calculate distances to nearby bars. We do not transmit, store, or retain your location data on any server. You can deny this permission and still use the Site normally.
Usage data (cookies and tracking): We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to automatically collect information about how you interact with the Site. This includes device information, browser type, IP address, pages visited, and general interaction data.
Voting data: When you use the Group Vote feature, your vote selections are stored using Supabase, a third-party database service. No user accounts are required and no personal identifiers are collected for voting.
Local device storage: We use your browser's localStorage to save your favorited bars. This data stays entirely on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
